BIOGRAPHY
Michael Still
Mike Still has been a Deputy District Attorney for the County of San Diego District Attorney's Office for 32 years. Mike has been the chief of the East County Branch office and worked in the Gang Prosecution Unit, Family Protection Unit, Special Operations, Juvenile Branch and Economic Crimes. Mike has prosecuted criminal and civil cases on behalf of the District Attorney including murder, rape, domestic violence, child abuse, narcotics, white collar crimes and environmental fraud. Mike was the tribal legal liaison and advisor to the District Attorney regarding tribal government relations, tribal sovereignty, and tribal gaming from 2003 - 2018.

Mike was also a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Attorney for the Southern District of California from 2004 - 2010. Mike has been an instructor for the San Diego County Sheriff's Department and the California Department of Justice, Bureau of Gambling Control on policing and special law enforcement issues on tribal lands. Mike is an instructor statewide for probation officers and judges regarding sentencing law and custody credits calculations. Mike has also worked in private civil practice handling cases involving wrongful death, personal injury, contracts, construction defect, product liability, corporate compliance, employment and personnel matters.

Mike received a B.A. in Economics from the University of San Diego and a J.D from the University of San Diego School of Law.
